3. Linking Products to Shopify
This is where the magic happens. You can link both Simple and Variable WooCommerce products to their Shopify counterparts.
For Simple Products:
Edit any Simple Product in WooCommerce. On the right-hand sidebar of the product edit screen, you will find a new box titled "Shopify Product Info". Simply paste the corresponding Shopify Variant ID into this field and save.
For Variable Products:
Edit a Variable Product and go to the "Variations" tab. Expand each variation that you want to link. You will find a new field labeled "Shopify Variant ID". Paste the unique ID for that specific variation here and save the product.

How to Find Your Shopify Variant ID?
- Log in to your Shopify Admin dashboard.
- Navigate to Products and select the product you want to link.
- If the product has variations (e.g., Small, Medium, Large), scroll down to the Variants section and click "Edit" on the specific variation you need.
- Look at the URL in your browser's address bar. The long number at the very end of the URL is the **Variant ID**.
- Example: `https://admin.shopify.com/store/your-shop/products/12345/variants/``41234567890123`
- Copy this number and paste it into the appropriate field in WooCommerce.
4. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Does the plugin work with Variable Products?
Yes, absolutely. As described above, our plugin is fully compatible with variable products. You can set a unique Shopify Variant ID for each individual variation, ensuring your customers are always redirected to the exact product they chose.
What happens if a customer's cart contains mixed items?
If a customer's cart contains at least one product with a Shopify Variant ID, our plugin will redirect the entire cart to the Shopify checkout. This is to ensure a consistent and secure checkout experience for all items. For this reason, the plugin is best suited for stores where all products are intended to be sold via Shopify's checkout.
Can I manage my activated websites myself?
Yes! Your purchase gives you access to the Customer Portal. From there, you can log in to view your license key and deactivate any of your sites at any time. This is perfect for moving a license from a development/staging site to a live site, or from an old domain to a new one.
